In Stracl CCMDAP training, we cover both theory and hands-on exercises. To complete the practical work, you’ll need Microsoft Power BI Desktop—which runs only on Windows.

If you're using a Mac and don’t have virtualization software (like Parallels), no problem—we’ll provide a Windows virtual machine (VM) during class. To access it, you’ll need to download the Windows App from the Apple App Store before training begins, so you’re ready to jump in right away. Just follow the steps below.

1. Download the Mac Windows App

2. In class, we will provide you with an IP address, login, and password.

3. This will give you access to our MS Power BI Desktop environment during the session.

4. ‍IMPORTANT: When the virtual machine opens, it will overlay your whole screen. To minimize it, you can use the yellow minimize button (the one with the minus sign) in the top-left corner of the virtual machine window, or use the keyboard shortcut Command + M.
